project implemented as part of the “Open Creative Space” program – Artistic Micro-Residencies at the Centre for Creative Attitudes Zamek in Wrocław [2023], co-financed by the Wrocław Municipality
From August 14 to September 24, 2023, as part of a micro-residency at the Zamek Center for Creative Attitudes in Wrocław, I spent time on Wrocław’s „further row” tides, small rivers endowed with hydronyms, but not necessarily the attention of the city’s inhabitants. „Immersing in the landscape” was accompanied by visual and audio documentation. Moving (film) images were created next to those stopped, exposed on photographic paper in a camera made from a wine box (if we were to associate the New Testament story here, the direction of the transformation could be considered to be the opposite). As part of the project, I also collected information and stories about Wrocław’s streams and processed their archival footage.
