The work grew out of personal experiences, feelings and ideas filtered through reading about anxiety and tracking symptoms of fear in art. Pictures, objects and audiovisual installation remain in a dialogue of flowing meanings and metaphors in relation to each other. They are an intuitive search and effect of an artificially created tension between certainty and its lack, curiosity about the new and anxiety about the unknown. Creation is accompanied by doubting what is visible, recognizable and expressible. Fear of building a coherent story is expressed in its fragmentary nature, break-ups are complemented by search for community in accordance with necessary repetition of one’s own narrative rituals.
